Michi (道) means "the way" in Japanese. That is exactly what we are building: the shortest path between your licence and your road trip in Japan.
Michi was born from lived experience: planning a trip to Japan is a joy — until you try to understand which paperwork lets you drive there. International permit? Translation? Which body? What timelines? We lost hours, only to discover it all came down to one document: the official JAF translation.
So we decided to build what we wished we had found: a service that handles everything, online, fast, at a transparent price, with real humans who answer. You fill in a 5-minute form; we do the rest.
Michi is a French-Swiss company: one partner in Lyon, one in Biel. This dual culture is our strength — it lets us serve French, Swiss, Belgian, Monegasque and German travellers with the same standard of care.
